Three Pillars of Supply Chain Excellence
An e;cient, e;ective and resilient supply chain is at the heart of your business success. We help you and
your company to translate supply chain excellence into competitive advantage through three paths of
engagement: Education, Research and Outreach.
Education. MIT CTL o;ers a wide portfolio of educational programs. Our intense, ten-month Supply Chain
Master’s program has been educating professionals for almost 20 years. It’s the template for allied programs
in Asia, Europe, and the Americas, o;ered by the MIT Global Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence (SCALE)
Network. It is also the model for the first ever MicroMasters Credential in Supply Chain Management (SCM)
o;ered 100% online. This groundbreaking program cultivates the competencies of supply chain professionals anywhere, and creates an alternative pathway toward a degree through our Blended Master’s in SCM.
Additionally, the Center’s renowned Executive Education courses immerse practitioners in a fast-paced mix
of simulations, case studies, discussions with industry experts, and interactive classes.
Research. MIT CTL’s portfolio of research projects draws on the expertise of distinguished faculty members,
the resources of the world’s top technological institution, and a globe-spanning network of research
centers. In addition, partner companies engage with our graduate students on thesis research projects.
Outreach. Our Supply Chain Exchange (SCE) invites companies and organizations to share knowledge with
peers and faculty, and participate in cutting-edge research. Partner companies enjoy many benefits including early access to research findings and graduate talent, and free seats at our industry-leading events.
